Hyundai & Ghella consortium (contractors) say this was `anticipated` situation with tunnel boring machine tunneling and immediately controlled.
Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) say this spoil is common with urban tunnel projects. And say chemicals surfaced via old unused pipes. MRB say no compromise to building structures.
