SK E&C already successfully opened the Turkish Eurasian Undersea Tunnel, which connects Europe and Asia in 2016. It is a 5.4 km double-layer tunnel that penetrates the seabed of the Bosphorus, which divides the continents of Asia and Europe. Including the land access road, the total length reaches 14.6 km.
SK E & C invested an extra-large TBM with a total length of 120m and a weight of 3300t in the 5th floor (13.7m) of apartments with a cross-section diameter only to penetrate the Eurasian underwater tunnel.
