Świna tunnel progress Sporadic weekly.
On Uznam side, work continued on building of support buildings. Work continued for Tunnel Boring Machine Starter Chamber by excavation of the area.
On the other hand, on the Wolin island side, area cleared of trees and the infrastructure on the way, electric cables etc.
It is said that despite Covid-19 Chinese company CREG is on schedule for manufacture of the TBM. Manufacture is complete to large extend. In June factory acceptance tests will be performed in China.
Świna tunnel progress: Gulermak's CREG TBM already bored 250 meters
Tunnel Boring Machine is now boring under the water for Świna tunnel (Tunel Świnoujście).
Swina Tunnel excavation reaches 507 meters.
Świna tunnel (Tunel Świnoujście) progress .
170 1,5m and 154 2m rings already installed by the TBM. This means that the bored tunnel has reached a total of 563 meters. Last week, the TBM installed another 13 two-meter rings.
